event of the century
capricious. whimsy. top of the pops. my conscience would have been forever at the thought of paying a caterer (nowithstanding it be kay cunanan) more than a five hundred pesos a head. this is one of those occassion where the river of moolah flows from end to end. the main tributary unknown, probably the whole pacific. screw all of that. this page is meant for a speech left unborn. maybe i may have gotten tired of laying it out for the public. this is not a one minute jams or another australs round. i guessthey should have known that this is not what we have in mind. ten and more years ago, the gameplan was to buy a condo unit somewhere in makati or ortigas, accumulating frequent flyer miles, getting a maid to pick up after me and perpetually eating out at megastrip or GB3. but we have to marry and have these guys pick up after us. now we have to sacrifice italian food in lieu of sinigang na ulo ng bangus (of which, i would never ever care to like). god has a sick and twisted way of screwing things for the better. this is one of those so cheers and here's to life -- simplified.

the elusive house of siomai
morning rain is most welcome. after drinking plain taho this time, with the usual tiny tapioca and arnibal. i almost waited forever until water turn to steam. impatience has been a bad habit of mine. being time bound has its benefits, sometimes. there we go enjoying taho. the best ever taho comes to mind. sold for five pesos behind makati's tallest building, most of all, it is libre.
